Containers, containers, containers!
They arrive here absolutely jam packed full of anything from bird feeders to cooking sauces..........and hanging baskets to taps!!
We make sure the delivery, often direct from Asia, is correct. We unload and palletise. After that, if the pallets are to be onward shipped we organise the paperwork. If the stock is to be re-stickered or re-packed then we do that in readiness for client collection.
We can do spot or batch testing, especially if the products are electrical. We check for leaflets and accurate descriptions of the contents.
If you need a facility to hold/collate stock being made ready for export, we can arrange that too.

The best way to explain this is with a specific job we did for Marks and Spencer recently.

'Beers of the World'

South Yorkshire packing services took in over 300 pallets from 4 different countries containing the Beers.
These arrived over a 4 week period as did the wooden container and outer box packaging we had to assemble the Beers into.
The box labels, instructions and bar codes arrived at different times too!
Eventually, once all the components had arrived, we assembled the first 12 packs and called the QC department at M and S. They visited the site and asked us to send samples to their head office in London.
After various checks, the go ahead was given and we assembled 75,000 packs based on a production schedule to work with their distribution system for Xmas.
Job Done !
So, it doesn't matter what the components are, you get the orders and stock sourced.....leave the rest to us!

We can organise POS material for holding stock (FSDU's etc), but usually, retailers are pretty fixed on where they come from. No problem!
Our job is to fill them with your products in a way that you specify.
Assembling, filling, wrapping and despatching by lorry load or individually...........line them up!
Over the years we've done Taps for Peglers, Coca Cola for Coca Cola (!!), Software for Staples and Books for The Works.
Last year we assembled 300 wooden A frames for hanging basket components for B and Q .........the list.....and variety of jobs is endless.

How big or small...........whatever shape...............assorted colours............different paper thicknesses.............
All of these factors combine to make affixing labels quite a skill.

They HAVE to be spot on.........especially when it comes to actually sticking it on the product. Our staff pride themselves on doing a perfect job , quickly.
When covering an existing (incorrect) bar code, it is vital that the new label is in exactly the right place.
Sometimes the label we stick on runs on from something already on the product so the words need to flow.
Colours need to be lined up, edges need to be straight.

Another simple sounding job, but one which demands great care and attention is given to the job in hand.
The contents must be correctly laid out and the sleeves (outers) put in place without damaging the contents and simultaneously ensuring the product looks the part.

When you have packs that need assembling we have the answers!
We can take in containers, lorries or pallets.
Sort them into items/colours/sizes.
Assemble the outer cartons or boxes.
Pack assorted items according to your detailed specifications.
Label/barcode if required.
Shrink-wrap if required.
Re-pallet and distribute.

If we are storing your products we can offer a pick and pack service.
This can either be to your specific regular instructions or on an ad hoc basis.
We can raise paperwork (delivery notes etc) on your behalf.
We can organise delivery for you.
Even if we don't store your products, but you need a consignment sorting for onward distribution to multiple locations....just ask!
We have assembled 360 Dump Bins for Staples, filled them with software for a huge promotion, pallet wrapped/labelled, and organised onward distribution to over 75 locations.
For delivery we have accounts with the Post Office for mailings small and large..........we also have accounts with most national carriers for next day (or 3 day) pallet delivery.
We can collate export orders, load containers and make ready for international shipping.
